What a night at the world championships!

First Mo Farah gets beaten to the Gold by some tactical running from his competitors.

Then the womens 4X100M relay team gets a silver, and it was a close race with the US.

Then the mens 4X100M relay team wins gold, beating the US with the 3rd fastest time in history, and poor Usain Bolt injures himself in his last race!

Teamwork and familiarity won through, great spectacles even in the supporting events, Bolt had only a slim chance even without his injury, the GB&NI women were outstanding, their guys were probably shocked by their own time and success.

When they get the chance to look back, Mo and Bolt will probably be quite pleased to bow out of the top stage on such an auspicious and eventful evening that is likely to live on for those who were privileged enough to have witnessed the events as they unfolded. No shame, they gave their all, real champions; real people.
