When I'm working from I often take a wander to the small row of shops just past the end of my road to get my lunch or pop into the tiny supermarket to get some groceries.
I live at one end of my road and the shops are round the corner at the other end of the road. It's a very quiet road in terms of traffic.
During virtually every walk, I get one or two cars pulling up to the exact spot that I'm walking past. It's almost become totally normal now. The cars either park up on the road or turn into the driveway that I'm walking past.
Most eerily, there have been occasions when four or five cars have pulled up to the exact spot that I'm walking past. The entire length of the road takes seven to eight minutes to walk.
What are the chances of that happening? It's really spooking me!
Anyway, this week I noticed something even more bizarre. As I got halfway down my road I spotted a muddy footprint on the pavement. The footprint was only of the right foot so someone must have had a lot of mud on one shoe.
But things got more interesting as I spotted another footprint, then another and so on. I carried on walking to the little supermarket and the footprints continued right up until the door of the shop!
That is just so bizarre! How could mud on a shoe last that long? Literally half the length of my road. And it was only of one shoe!
