I was very ill last week. Couldn't stop coughing for a couple of days leading up to monday, then I was absolutely bed-ridden for about 3 days. It's amazing how much u appreciate just being "not ill" when you are lying in your bed dying haha.

Yep, but doesn't sound like any of the above are flu, just normal colds which the flu jab (in the UK at least) won't touch.

I just avoid other people whenever possible. Haven't had a day off sick since I was bashed off the motorcycle.

I do, but last year I forgot - it was the first year for a while when i didn't get a bad cold/flu symptoms. Probably coincidence... (but makes you think! )
