Question Suggestions wanted for a club event organising platform

    Hi folks,

Our rowing club uses couple of different ways to arrange events but it's not as efficient as I think it could be and I'm looking for better options.

We use https://www.bigtent.com/ to add events then people can say if they're coming or not, we also use Whatsapp as a last minute 'tool' in case it's too windy/you can't make it etc.
The problem is that some people aren't on Bigtent and often the two methods don't align. We also have a public facebook page but I'm not sure if you can add private events to it ?

What I'm looking for is a one stop shop for planning that can be updated as frequently as people want and so we can see the most up to date info, Bigtent for example doesn't let you change your RSVP after 10am (or some similar time) on the day and to be honest it's a bit clunky.

Perhaps some sort of smartphone app would be best as that might have the best user experience/penetration but there are quite a few options out there.

Any suggestions are really appreciated as I can see this becoming a headache!

    Thanks all!

    Rob

If the members are on facebook, then you can make a closed (private) facebook group linked to the page (even if the page is public) and make private events for the group
