Forum News Feed?

Has the forum news feed been permanently removed? I've not see if for a good few days now and always used it as my main reference to news articles - sorely miss it. Can it be re-enabled somehow by myself?

No not the news section, the news headlines that used to be on the right hand side of the forum main listing has disappeared for me.
