Merry Christmas Eve, you 'orrible but lovely lot

Brother and cousins both cancelled on me at late notice due to having to drive too far to see me, best mate in london has new girlfriend he wants to spend time with, girlfriend has both several branches of family to spread herself with and then on top of that a family crisis up in newcastle (we're in/near bath) to deal with today, so i'm left spending christmas on my lonesome for the first time ever! Well, except for my dog, who has the only trappings of a festive season about him:
