I guess not.
I first got the Kindle app just because a friend wrote a book and, upon hearing that it was out, was amazed to actually be reading it within 1 minute straight after that phonecall.
Now, she wrote it on PC and printed the manuscript, but there are errors in the Kindle version that aren't present in the printed (and signed) copy.
I therefore assume there's a different process in getting it to eBook than printing it...
