Its a snowing!!

I thought it would be just a light smattering of snow,but it really is proper Snowman making weather!!

Plymouth, completely void of any snow, just very cold and the suns out!

Enough to cover my shoes but nothing more than that. All the snow had landed on my car then slid of so I had a little barrier to beat before I could get driving but then it's been business as usual!

Looked pretty this morning but it's just a pile of slush now D: The real challenge comes tomorrow when that slush freezes over!

Quite a bit falling, nothing sticking as yet. The day is young though.

Thick snow fell for about 15 minutes, but the sun is out now and its pretty much gone.

Its sunny now,but there is still a few inches of snow still on the window sills,and outside everything is still covered in it!!

I take it back, we had a blizzard here in Knightsbridge, for about 15 minutes. Now bright sunshine again.

my mum said it snowed at about 4-6am this morning.
been sunny with nary a cloud in the sky ever since, looking outside theres still snow on the pavements.
some houses still have an inch or so of snow the roof, majority have no snow atall.

looks about he same as scaryjims picture. but sunnier.


when storm emma hits on Thursday/Friday wonder if itll get to the stage it was in 2009, where we had 15inches of snow on the brand new roof, then the next day our brand new gutters where decorating the garden path..

I'm hoping not! I'm at a rally in the Lake District on Saturday - could be a nightmare getting around to the stages if it pelts it down.

... been sunny with nary a cloud in the sky ever since ...

It's been alternating between gorgeous spring sunshine and actual blizzards here. I was out in it just after lunchtime getting some shopping and when it wasn't snowing it was really quite warm and lovely! Then another blizzard blew in, and I ended up looking like a snowman (seriously - I actually created my own little blizzard when I shook the snow off my jumper!)...

All the heavy stuff seems to of come close to Birmingham but veered off at the last minute, I'm starting to wonder if the clouds know something I don't?
