I suppose I'd better dump mine, then. Damn, it's been sitting on my shoulder so long I'll,probably spend a week walking around in circles. I'll kinda miss it ... about as much as I'd miss a dose of piles.

Excuse me a sec, I just want to exchange both chips for a brick. I need something hefty to throw. Be right back.
By the way, who gave you that line? Charlie Chaplin? Methusalah?
I know they say the old ones are the best .... but good grief. That's not so much scraping the bottom of the barrel as a good start on a deep pit mineshaft. Let me know if you hit Australia.

Wow, this is weird.

Yep all well here. It'd be good to catch up, though. I've mised our argum .... ummm, chats.
I recall the rivalry between the two - I've been here for a while, even been to a few meets and rave ups with some of the hexites on here
I had to make a new account as lost the old one (long story )
I missed most of the actual drama as it happened as I was particularly busy, but I was around when the two were, from what I could tell at the time, on pretty good term.
I am quite sure (as sure as I can be for two decades old memory) that I came across Hexus through a link from OcUK and the two sites reciprocated each other's link at one point (likely pre-2000), which led me to believe at the time that the two were on very good terms, if not more (affiliated/partners).
When I was active again (which was a while after I re-registered on this forum), I was actually quite surprised by the perceived division of the two sites (and also Hexus's endorsement of Scan; who gave me a pretty hard time around 2002).
I have family in Stoke, and OCUK are a bit of a shining light in an otherwise very deprived area.
I'm happy to include them in my list of preferred suppliers, and I would say that his Legacy is a great one for Stoke.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
