i can see more snooooo clouds over wimbledon.
either that or my glasses are still fogged up!

a mate of mine has just flown into zagreb where there's about a foot of snow on the ground, and it's been snowing most of the morning - he called me an hour ago when it was snowing and complained that he wasn't back in london, as he's never been here when it's been snowing.

his excuse... "because it's nicer" *grin*

Been snowing here (Brentwood, Essex) on and off during the day. Settled a bit, some snow has suddenly set on the car, didn't actually see it snow.

We have a had a bit of snow now and again, but the best was making everything look a bit white. Lets just hope it's so bad tonight I can't go to school.

    MY DAY IN YORK:
I got up normal time, and left the house normal time to go to uni in Leeds. I decided to take the bus as it was snowing a blizzard. My Dad on the other hand decided to cycle the 5 miles to York station (I would normally). Instead of waiting at the bus stop nearest to my house, I decided to walk a mile and a half to the bus stop outside my old secondary school. This was mainly because lots of students (chavs maybe?) throw snowballs, and I hate snow. That bus stop also had a shelter .

Anyway, back to my very snowy day. On my journey to the bus stop, I was actually overtaking many cars even though I was walking. The cars were actually going THAT slow, there were queues at every roundabout. Since there were queues, the bus took FOREVER to get to the bus stop. I left my house at 8:00ish, a mile and a half to the bus stop, and it still didn't get there until 9:10!!!!!!!

I then headed off by train to Leeds, where my story continues...

So, to summarise, in York, there was a lot of snow - enough to build snow men (or is it snow people?), snowballs, and snow anything really.

    MY DAY IN LEEDS:

I finally got to Leeds (well headingley) at 11:30 - a journey of 3.5 hours, 1.5 hours late!!!! This bit's short, so I'll skip straight to the summary .

It had hardley snowed at all in Leeds even though it's pretty close to York.

I really don't know what a post about the weather was that big (especially coming from me!), but there you go.

    Rant Over

was truely mad out on the roads this morning - the number of accidents was completely mad. i think in "poor" weather conditions (i.e. those where idiots should not be allowed on the roads) start by banning all white vans. transit van cut up the car in front of me - then promptly ended up in the middle of a park after wiping out a fence. quite impressive for London
