Its been snowing little bits nearly constantly down here in Brighton for the last 3 days now, but being Brighton, it never settles.

Yeah I had to cycle home in a blizzard on Monday night at around midnight... I couldn't see where I was going. Lol

It wasn't my choice. I'd just got back from a friends house in Leeds, and my parents would have been in bed, so I couldn't ask for a lift. At that time of night/morning, there a pretty much no cars on the road, and I didn't find the road slippey at all, so I mustn' have come across anynice.Originally Posted by Defiant

Yeah me too... I didn't drive incase I drunk too much, and it was DAMN COLD

Still you should see some of the cyclists in edinburgh, pure nutters. One of my coworkers watched someone fall off there bike 5 times when trying to cycle.

Not really that funny in this weather tbh. My Dad used to cycle to one job he had and he slipped on some black ice, fell and hit his head on the curb. If it wasn't for his crash helmet he could've seriously, or even fatally, injured himself.Originally Posted by Defiant
A couple of stupid schoolkids nearby just laughed and walked off, my Dad gave them a right bollocking, too right! Youth of these days...

I fell sorry for your dad if he hurt himself, but I still think its nutz to take a bike out in these conditions. I have even seen some with lycra shorts on
Still thank good for a helmet, safety is still very important in my book and cycling in this weather is not safe in my view. But then again next to nothing is.
I vote we all stay home!!!!
