Re: Where do you get your news?

To be honest I can't take the mass media seriously, and I don't use social media. I think it's always been a case that all media is propaganda, but maybe it's being connected that makes us realise that.

Hence where do I get my news, the media. But it's the internet that allows you to look at the issue from many different perspectives. So I visit forums, Right wing and Left have their own cliched predictable ideas. Islamic forums are interesting, police forums. Government documents, even biographies of say political advisers, or a documentary. The list is probably endless. Usually one source leads to five others.

Also sites on the Dark Web will be even more informative. Who needs journalists!

Like others here, I used to have BBC as my homepage (albeit BBC sport) before switching to Reuters. I like my news factual and untainted, and while not utterly on the money with the latter all the time, it still seems ahead of the rest.

And ESPN for sport (which is getting just as bad as BBC sport unfortunately). But I've given up looking.
