    Yes humans seem to range between spouting grand ideas and humanitarian views; to petty acts of spite, envy, jealousy, vengeance and greed. I think it's obvious that beneath all our grand ideas, humans have been tribal animals where territory is everything, for thousands of years. That can play itself out in ways from wars, to expression through architecture.
