Legit Email ??

Hello all,

I've been getting some rather plain, boring text looking emails from eBay. However, I am unsure whether they are from eBay.

This is the most recent one, which got me a bit worried....

It contains a link to a log in page, so alarm bells should be immediately going.

Simply log into your ebay account via www.ebay.co.uk (type it into your browser!) and check it that way.

Thats what got me thinking as to it being dodgy....

I got a couple of those a few months ago. They are rubbish, they link to you a fake ebay site. Just make sure you log in correctly to ebay through your browser and you will fully see what is happening.

Hmm, be careful, I had one of them... ignored it as phishing and got a debtors letter a few weeks later... My card I use for Paypal had expired, rendering my Paypal acc unusable so Ebay couldnt get their money!

All sorted now tho. So if you're concerned, send the e-mail to the Ebay abuse address, then they'll tell you if its genuine or not.

I logged into my eBay account, through my browser...

Appears legit My account is suspended!!!

Shall I click the link in the email and see what the fuss is about??

Dont click it, log in and find out, if theres something wrong....itll be on your ebay too, surely?

[EDIT]: Found it now. Why the hell didnt they send me a message inside eBay in the eBay messages??

Would save all this kerfuffle over £1.01 sellers fee's... ffs.

its all automated, just make sure your card details are correct and you will be fine.

I've just paid it via the website. Not through the email.

And it still says I'm suspended :@
