OK, this is just fascinating story.

If he doesn't have the funding to do this, and frankly how/where he could possibly have gotten it I can't tell you without a BBG terminal to begin to understand the holders. Let's just say I'd be surprised, this is a huge valuation and unless he has been sitting on something I don't know how it could be achieved.Am considering taking Tesla private at $420. Funding secured.
I would hope the SEC will look into this, and ensure has truly has a secured offer.

Personally I think Elon was just trying to hurt the shorters that he hates so much, and simply didn't understand the potential consequences.

Today, Tesla closed at 280.
Rumots are, they are behind on production numbers again too, but that shouldn't be surprising. Where will it go from here?
