    Re: I'm Reading - Will Be Reading.

    Have been re-reading 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawking there is so much in it that it's a bit overwhelming at first but it's a brilliant read.

    I really need to start reading 'The Dark Tower' series from Stephen King it's been out for ages now but I never got round to it.

    Freakonomics by Stephen Levitt which looks at the "hidden side of everything" some interesting examples would be;
    Which is more dangerous, a gun or a swimming pool? What do schoolteachers and sumo wrestlers have in common? Why do drug dealers still live with their moms? How much do parents really matter? How did the legalization of abortion affect the rate of violent crime?

    Good call Zakkyboy , one of the few books I've read in recent years that I couldn't put down.

    Hmmmm... not that much sci-fi coming through in the reading lists. I'm surprised.

    Reading: On The Shoulders Of Giants - Stephen Hawking. Basically gives you a run down on the lives and work of Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Einstein. I'm finding it most interesting

    Next on the list: Haven't got a clue.

    I'm part way though Atlas Shrugged. It's pretty slow going but it's life affirming stuff.

    I'm currently (re)reading David Eddings The Shining Ones (bk 2 of The Tamuli) and then it'll be on to book 3, Hidden City (and I read Vulcan 607 a couple of months ago and is a very good book) with a pre-order in for Unseen Academicals.

    Picked a random book from the shelf to read so The Thirty-Nine Steps is to get about its seventh read . It's so damn short though I'll have it finished on the train tomorrow.

    Re: I'm Reading - Will Be Reading.

    Awesome thread revival!

    I'm reading, in no particular order
    Tipping Point, The Social Life of Information, The Trouble with Physics, Easy Riders Raging Bulls, and One Flew Over a Cuckoo's Nest.

    I will be reading
    The Autobiography of Malcolm X & Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West

    Wish I had much more time to read tbh
