I would think the seating would be a bit uncomfortable.

I preferred Meccano - but Lego technic wasn't as advanced then. What I don't like about modern lego is that it isn't just a box of bricks - its a collection of bits that makes a model - and while you can use those bits for other things, many are purpose made for that model, rather than general purpose.

I agree Peter, lego today is mainly just moulded pieces for that one specific model. Giving limited ways to recreate newer models.

My first bit of space lego -

Nostalgic looking for that and all the other sets I saw

Looks amazing, they did a good job! The things they can build with it are quite impressive - as anyone whos been to Legoland may be able to tell you

every few months I decide i want to play with lego again - I have the very first Lego Mindstorms robotics kit and i've had countless of hours of fun with it as an adult - last time we build a couple of robots and played lego robot wars which was a lot of fun

Still really want the lego death star but I don't have anywhere to put it (or where i'd be allowed to display it...)

You can still get boxes of bricks - https://www.lego.com/en-gb/themes/cl...rick-box-10698

They are the rarity now rather than the norm though...

If anyone rear ends you the accident damage would be easy to repair, Or at least the parts would be available.
