I heard it was because Eric took his son to work and he got fired for saying phwoar to the wife of the O2 boss after he spied her using messages on the data network. Apparently they're still trying to remove all of the images of her Chinese-made breeches.

We're getting so numb to the utter ineptitude within multiple industries that we just don't notice it anymore. Not even "thread worthy".

People make these sort of mistakes all the time. However what's unusual is the chain of errors made by multiple people that allowed this to happen. In this situation, the failure is almost always an organisational one.

For me, yep, pretty much Worst time as well - I lost the work's Christmas night out between pubs and couldn't google the location of the next pub because no data! Had to jump on the wifi from a local co-op, of all places...

Pfft.... I'm on Vodafone. I'm used to shoddy service and catastrophic organisational stuff-ups... usually while being bombarded by claims that they can save me money and provide me with a faster service.

It's nice to see others suffering, for once... especially the antsy ones who can't do their dailies on Star Wars Universe!!

I just moved the family mobile contract from O2 recently - usually my luck is the other way around, so expect EE to crash any day now.

Weirdly at the same time O2 was out, my area had a BT Infinity failure and apparently EE wasnt working well either that evening.

There was also an area outage with BT last week, and mysteriously EE stopped working too, O2 was fine that time.

EE are probably using BT as a backhaul for their cell towers in your area.

Tesco just gave me a 2GB data bundle for January as compensation (O2 is Teco's provider)

As someone who works for Tesco Mobile, this wasn't very fun. Luckily I'm on leave and have been since Thursday
