    Cool Were you 'famous'?

By this i mean, have you ever been mentioned or pictured in any paper (local or national)?
I have... for the guys who live around Hertfordshire and recieve the Herald Express: back page, top picture, back row, 6th from the right. (yesterdays edition)

I was in my local paper about 15 years ago.

My dad was buying a Vauxhall Astra from the local garage, and they'd opened a play area for kids. Obviously it wasnt a common thing back then and they had the local rag round - and muggins here had a picture in there of me playing with lego.

    Rock 'n Roll, baby

    *edit*
Oh yeah, about 10 years ago i was on local news... kinda.

There was this group of people who came round the middle-schools in my area basically to sing and dance and tell kids to 'Just Say No!'
I say i was kinda in it because the whole front row of the audience was pulling faces, so they broadcast it with a mosaic effect over it so you couldnt make out any faces

I was on the front page of the Yorkshire Evening Press some years ago, some reporter lept on me in the street and asked me to say something about these new tickets or something or other to which I said I didn't do it. He said, "Ah b******s to it, that doesn't matter just hold this ticket while I do some shots"

Ruddy thing was massive, whopping 3/4 page shot of my mug on the front gurning away. Ugh.

Ooh what u been pictured for - some sporty thing??

When I was at school I had a poem printed in our local paper 'The Evening Echo' and I had my picture in there when I won a school CDT competition to design a logo for Shell Coryton.
Oh was in the local paper to where I live now when I got married too!

More recently I got my picture included on a poster which came with the CD2 for Embrace's current single Looking as You Are......

So I am famous - honest!

I've been on Eurosport once folks....

No not participating, I was at ordsal stadium in Bradford watching speedway with a friend when I was 15. One of the riders fell off RIGHT infront of where my friend and I we're sat drinking like fish and smoking like chimneys.

Guess what Eurosport did... replayed the crash over and over again for 5 minutes while they made sure he was okay and cleared the track. I got home to find my friends mum and dad had taped it and boy did he get a good grilling the day after as soon as his parents seen the clip.

I've also been in PC Plus "editors" award winning letters and won a HUGE monitor

Recently.. I've been on the back and inside of a few major computer magazines such as Custom PC, PC Format, and a load of others in works advertising campaign and even on the front page of hexus

yeah, i stopped flipping through it ages ago, get what mtb very occasionally but not much since so much is on the net anyway, is surprising how magasines are still so popular.
my mate was in one of the mtb mags regularly, jumping lots - probably mbuk (groan) - with some steve geal or something? he was downhill uk champion [possibly university level? at least for his age group anyway] a few years back too...
