What solar kit have you got that works really well?
I've got some external movement sensor lamps that are astounding.. and obviously a trusty CASIO desk calculator that needs the sun to run.(MX-8V classic big button beauty)

I've got a lawn that uses it so well I'm having to mow the damn thing in January.
Which ones? I could do with some lighting for my shed and was looking at car battery + 12V solar charger + spare LED kitchen under-cupboard lights, but a simpler solution might be better...Quote:

Those MPOW's look perfect for what I need. I think I feel a 4-pack order coming on.
They're really good, I've had them for years. The bigger ones really are surprisingly bright, I've got one outside the entrance to our shed and it's enough to light most of the garden.

No more changing batteries! Charge is always high in the summer, drops to med over the winter (presumably because jumper etc covers it) but I've never seen it low.

Solar so no changing batteries, radio so no adjusting the time, waterproof so no need to remove for shower/swimming etc, sapphire window for scratch resistance. Strap it on and forget about it.Quote:

Dang, really need ones with a cable between the solar panel and the light. Might be worth getting a couple for outside the shed and down the side of the house (though north facing wall so again the cable would help put a panel round the corner).Quote:
