So what does the new Digital Rebel do better over the old one?

Im finally realistically considering getting the 300D but would like to know the price of the newer one and what improvements it has made over the original 300D.

    thanks

    things better than 300d are

    faster more accurate autofocus
    much faster fps
    smaller and lighter
    mirror lockup
    8mp VS 6.3mp
    instant power on
    lower iso noise

    plenty of info > http://www.dpreview.com/articles/canoneos350d/

Hmm, if it's only £120 more for the 350D then that seems very reasonable, I was expecting it to be at least 150% the price.

Although that depends on how much the 300D drops in price over the next months, it could still be the better purchase

if you want a direct comparison go here:
    http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/comp...s350d&show=all
side-by-side comparison for you. you can now choose focusing modes rather than have it annoyingly choose for you - and often get it wrong - in the 300d this was a big complaint. a hack saved this somewhat but was a bit silly that it wasn't there in the first place!
if you get the 300d get it hacked to a 10d - as that is what it is in a cheaper body really...
