Oooh how about the woman who changed lanes into me on my bike and then, on looking at the damage, complained about how people keep hitting her car.
That's because you drive like a moron, don't look and assume everyone else will scarper out of your way when you point your car in the vague direction you want to go and stomp on the pedals like a moronic chimp.
I'm so lucky I had a camera for that one. Stupid thing.
I humbly present you with a Burk in a Merc
Warning there is a bit of swearing! (from me)

One of the stupidest overtakes in a while, video sent to Dorset Police and he was spoken to.
Edit: Youtube seems to have mullered the quality, it was good enough to get the reg and see his face clearly.
I hope by "Spoken to" they actually meant "Began the prosecution process for Dangerous driving with the intent of releiving the driver of their license for a significant period of time along with a fine that makes them think properly before attempting to overtake for the rest of their lives"
Of course that probably isn't the case. In this country, we have a right to kill people, provided we are driving at the time.
Not exactly.
They might give some harsh words, but that's all they'll do. No-one died, or even got injured, so not worth the time or paperwork otherwise.
However, we most certainly do not have the right to kill whilst driving... and because of that, had the driver actually killed someone, then it might be a different story and the long-winded sentence you described suddenly becomes a much more worthwhile use of Police time.
Sad state of affairs, perhaps, but the Police have so much to do and there are so many people to police that it often takes a death to draw the focus.
I don't understand - because you started this thread, you think you have rights over the direction it takes, where the whole topic of discussion naturally leads to the politics of gun-control?
Do you want me to come in with a standard 'lol what an idiot' or do you want people to contribute meaningfully?
I'm not really much of a fan of this whole free speech crap but if I were I'd be saying that by trying to tell me what I can and can't reply to your obvious provocation, you're trying to restrict my free speech.
Oh, for pities sake.
It is, and always has been, a tradition to at least try to keep a thread on-track, at least until the natural run of that subject has run it's course.
Because I started this thread, I have the right to specify what it's supposed to be about. Which isn't gun control. If I wanted to start a thread about gun control, I would have.
Instead, I asked, and I emphasaise asked, hence the word "please", to not drag it off-topic.
Nowhere did I say you can't, but instead just gave a polite request not to ruin it.
And you somehow think this infringes free speech?
What it infringe, IF it's dragged off course, is common courtesy.
And, of course, I do not and never pretended to have "a right" to determine the course of this, simply to ask .... but moderators do. They also have the right, if they decide it's right, to delete this post and the last one, and any others, to keep it from deteriorating into an argument on freedom of speech which, as you should know, is never, ever absolute. Even in countries with it embedded in constitutions, it has limits. Here, those limits are determined by mods and certainly not me.
Back on topic, whoever decided to use Australia's last review at Headingley! :clapping:
