Mate got arrested last night
Jus got off the phone from my mate... he's been arrested!
On his way home from a night out was involved in an 'incident' and ended up getting arrested, which I think is comletely unfair.
He'd stopped to get some petrol but he says the nozzle was well dodgy and kept cutting off if he pushed it too far into the tank, so he held it just inside the filler pipe and filled up like that.
He thinks he coughed or sneezed or something but he missed the hole and sprayed fuel over the side of the car and himself, all up his arm etc.
Anyways, he told the guy in the petrol station he'd spilt the fuel, (who didn't seem all that interested), paid for the fuel and left.
He was coming back from Milton Keynes, down the dual carriageway bit and decided to have a fag. He reckoned the petrol had evaporated though cos he'd had the window open all the time.
He flicks the lighter and damn near carps himself when his right arm goes up in flames!
So here he is, doing 70-80mph in the right hand lane with his arm on fire.. luckily he already had the window open so he stuck his arm out to try and blow out the flames whilst slamming on the anchors and getting over to the verge.
He didnt know this at the time but he was being time trialled by a police car behind him and they saw the whole thing, so someone was there to help straight away... he heaved himself out of the car to find two cops with him who put him out.
He's been whisked off to hospital where they treated him and then he got arrested by the cops! He says he's in deep kaka with the police all cos he spilt some petrol!
Anyone got any advice on what he should do?
