I don't think Johnson did himself any favours on HIGNFY. He's constantly derided even now.
To call him a liar is a little understated; we've got a PM without a conscience.

BoJo a liar?
I'm shocked. Utterly gob-smacked. All my illusions are being shattered. Next, someone will be claiming Santa Claus doesb't exist.
I mean, he's a politician. How could such a thing possibly be so? They're a group so famous for fastidious truthfulness.
Aren't they?

Is there a date by which we'll know who our new Labour Lord is... or is it just whenever they all get around to agreeing on one?
Does it have to be one? Can there be two... as in joint leadership?
Can it be two women?
No reason, other than the hi-LAR-ious potential for headlines - 'Labour Leadership Ladies Laughably Left Losing Leeds Local Ludo League'!!

Note - that's just what I've picked up from talking to people, but I haven't looked up the official rules.

Cant decide myself on this. My first choices are between Nandy and Starmer.
Nandy, I thought has been very impressive recently in interviews etc but i don't see her winning enough votes as much i think she would be a breath of fresh air and neither falls into the "momentum hard left or London/south based more middle of the road standing say under Starmer.
Starmer, I think he would be positive for Labour overall as leader, but i am not certain he will appeal to the "red wall" voters up north that have defected to the tories.
My worst case scenario would be the momentum backed RLB. If she gets in that will probably guarantee another term of tory rule come the next election which is a really depressing thought.

An opposition leader that won't oppose the tory govs poor handling of the pandemic....
He has called for parliament to re-sit after easter, which wasn't planned. You can't effectivly oppose the government, with no parliament.
He pointed out a disparity with what the government says about PPE and what front line workers are saying.
He said the government should appologise for PPE failings.
He's highlighted the need for testing well above what is currently planned.
I realise you hate him, so you may be biased.
But, for me he's being quite clever. He's still getting his message accross, he's just more subtle about it.
I interacted with the guy a little during his time at the CPS (on the same side!).
he seemed to be a genuine, nice and intelligent guy.
at least he's not another OxBridge PPE grad/career politician.
