Looks like the first report of a ban is in. Sun Yang, Chinese swimmer has an 8 year ban. For 'missing' a test.. Although, it looks like they turned up, and he claims they "failed to prove their identity when they arrived at his home"
He's also denying smashing up blood samples with a hammer.
Ban is long as it's a 2nd offence, having tested positive in 2014. Although, having not tested positive (this time..) they arn't taking away previous wins from him....

I heard they are testing for some new stuff, including l-carnitine, which from what little I understand should be a nightmare to test for accurately and generally cause mayhem because it's present in so much and people metabolise it differently... should be interesting.
