Had a good message from a long termer, and it brought to mind peterb's insistance that swearing was not cool here on HEXUS.

I know I'm a ... I'm the worst offender

But I get pulled up on it by everyone and that's cool

Its been me that does the moaning about swearing of late, but I am guilty of it even just five minutes ago.

Personally don't give a damn, doesn't bother me one bit as casual swearing comes in a lot of the time round my neck of the woods coupled with slang etc

As a soldier, I can curse with the best of them.
As an atheist, I have no feelings toward God and am likely considered quite blasphemous, too.

However, as a soldier and atheist, I still attended regular church parades, at which everyone is on their best behaviour and not one of us would dream of uttering a foul word... because some places are just sacred.

In its own ways, HEXUS is also sacred. It's why I come here, to get away from all the [CENSORED] you get on all the other forums.
So to preserve what we have here, I'm happy to keep it clean and tidy.

... I have won some superb arguments with judicial use of utter gutter filth. If you can't drop a C bomb or throw the F grenade a few times, you're not trying hard enough
