    Clocky the hiding alarm clock

In my role here at HEXUS as News Administrator, a lot of news finds its way into my news inbox. However, I do go in search of news too, and sometimes I come across things that don't really suit the HEXUS.tech-news forum, but still make me laugh, gawp or worse.

So today, while perusing what is in my opinion one of the best nerdy news sources on the web, I discovered a rather interesting alarm clock.
Clocky is, quite simply, for people who have trouble waking up.

When the alarm clock goes off and the snooze button is pressed, Clocky will roll off the bedside table and wheel away, bumping mindlessly into objects on the floor until it eventually finds a spot to rest. Minutes later, when the alarm sounds again, the sleeper must get up out of bed and search for Clocky. This ensures that the person is fully awake before turning it off. Small wheels that are concealed by Clocky's shag enable it to move and reposition itself, and an internal processor helps it find a new hiding spot every day.

Now that's clever with a capital C, and cool in caps lock!

Yes, a shagpile alarm clock would, in itself, be a great idea, but one that MOVES... blimey.

One can only say to what is one of the ideas I have seen in ages. As I for one suffer from the problem of being able to turn off my alarm in my sleep, no matter where I put it the night before
If it ain't broke, fetch a bigger hammer

That is indeed an awesome alarm clock! I am always falling asleep just after I hit that off button!
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
