    Cool GLASTONBURY Festival

Its that time of the year again, Glastonbury tickets go on sale this Sunday at 9am. Lets hope that this year they sort out the problems with Web traffic and have added more phone lines!

Anyone thinking about going? The rumor mill looks pretty awesome so far

Yup, me n the missus will be going if the ticket gods are on our side.

Apparently they're not letting you do the 'buy your two tickets then hand the phone to your mate and let them order theirs aswell' jobby.

(just checked... ARRRGH !!! nope ... it looks like one of my friends isn't gonna get a ticket then)

Why do they not understand that some people would like more than 2 as some of their friends might have maxxed out cards or not even have a card at all.

I know, its all a bit

Guess they are going to have to sell blood/girlfriend/underwear on ebay and try and get some money together.....

At the end of the day at least they are not doing the lottery system as was discussed last year!

Damn, worked last year and was a godsend too. 5 mates+mobiles in one room 5x chance of getting tickets.

Ive heard that getting tickets this year is a drama....

Apparently only 2 tickets a piece and you have to give full name and address for both.
Have to take photographic ID with you, both tickets. No day tickets. eBay and tout tickets will be refused. So to recap. You have to give lots of personal info. You have to take your passport. You have to store your passport in your tent all weekend. Or carry it round with you.

Direct quote from my usual festival buddy is "It’ll be easier to apply for asylum In the UK with a contagious tropical disease, a family of 4000 in tow, no money and a religion of hatred against Westerners! Or is it me being melodramatic!!"

Sounds too much like hard work to me tbh...
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

Same as last year, once you had your ticket it wasnt as bad as it all sounded. I think i took an old phone bill and my railcard with me as ID so its not as bad as taking your passport with you. even so

Leeds is a bigger place, doesn't sell out as fast and I know more people goin to leeds than reading this year, still gonna have to scrape a fair bit to get my ticket.

    Fair dos

Got 2 Reading tickets as soon as I could get pre release september last year as I knew by this time when they come on sale, I'd never able to afford them, and from looking at my recent overdrawn bank statements, Im there abouts right.

    Should be a blast, Maiden
