    The Pope

I'm guessing most people have heard by now that the popes probably not going to see out this weekend...

THe question is though how many people know that Nostradamus predicted that he would be last but 2nd pope before the end of the world....

Hasn't all this Nostradamus stuff been proven to be complete crap though? Wansn't the world meant to end a few years ago?

yeah I always though that 'ol nostro said that our current pope would be the last one ?

its a load of cods anyway - his predictions are so vague , you can make them fit anything after the event.

I feel sorry for him and all that, as a human being, but I'm not looking forward to the inevitable mourning, 24hr TV programs about his life and hell in London for people signing a bit of paper to "show you're sorry"...

:edit: Anyway, lets face it, the guy should've died when he was shot in 1981 and didn't. Who knows, he might pull through?

yup, didn't most of his predicitions go along the lines of
"and yea...on some day in the future, some stuff shall happen...and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth at the heppening of the stuff"

i tried reading his prophecies once, it got on my nerves & i gave up
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

It's wierd because if he is still alive then he could be seeing all this news. Most people are usually ACTUALLY dead before this happens.

Chances are he's already dead, he was more than likely dead friday night. They won't announce it until Monday though, that way they get a full weeks media coverage. Just watch

Well let's be honest, death from natural causes, ie old age, usualy happens suddenly. Can't think I recall any example of where it's took 2 days and counting.

Normally does actually, people often fade away. 2 days is a bit excessive, but the last lady I was with when she died took several hours at least, and that was when the doctors were making no effort to keep her alive at all.

I'm sure the catholic church isn't upset about a bit of non-negative publicity mind
