RIP Murray: Shame he didn't make the tun, but with just a few laps to go, and he's spun off at the bend. As he puts it "He's out of the race... Words fail me."

I'll miss you Murray Walker. I loved his commentating... so memorable. I still remember when he retired from F1 commentating... and me thinking that Martin Brundle and whoever else, was not a great replacement. He was an absolute legend! RIP Murray Walker.

Yaphet Kotto was awesome in everything I seen him in. Favourites for me was Detective Alonzo Mosely in Midnight Run and Laughlin in The Running Man

@Ferral, he sure was. My faves were also Laughlin in The Running Man and of course Parker in Alien. I also last week saw him in his one off role as Captain Jack Clayton in Seaquest DSV episode " Treasures of the Tonga Trench". He had a "who is fitter" match with Captain Bridger (Roy Scheider), where Bridger did a 360 spin on a balance beam... was a fun character!

Genuinely nice guy to watch. RIP.

Ditto, just heard it on the radio. Only in her early 50s poor thing. RIP + God Speed. I really enjoyed her stints on the old top gear (pre evans). I'll always remember her surprise that Clarkson could actually drive in a professional way when they raced those rally cars at Goodwood or wherever it was.

I still remember her first appearance, and subsequent recalls to Top Gear by Clarkson and co. Agree, way too young. How sad.

Schmitz said last year that she had been diagnosed with cancer in 2017.
