Great news that, mate. Wish you all the best for your Christmas. Inspirational reading in here, honestly, properly inspirational.

You too mate, and everyone else in here too. Glad to hear things are better atm. Best wishes from us both here.
I write this still working and will be all day tomorrow. At some point I'll find time to think about Christmas properly, wrap presents and actually kick back for a bit. I have this nagging feeling I've forgotten something important but can't put my finger on it right now...

Wonderful news, all the best wishes for you and your family.

Merry Christmas Space Inv. and family!
A rainy Christmas day here in Gibraltar, but a good one with the family around the table.
Hope you've enjoyed a great one!

Not entirely good news. Had 1 last go with the chemo on a reduced dose to see if it would go better. A week bedbound suggests not. I've now had the line removed and won't be having any more chemo, but should have a scan in a couple of weeks. Given at the last scan the tumour hadn't grown its entirely possible that the chemo is what's causing my decline and not the cancer. Sometimes the cure really is worse than the disease.
In the next few weeks 1 of two things will happen:
1. The cancer has been causing my decline and now as the chemo leaves my system that will accelerate to its inevitable conclusion.
2. The chemo was causing my decline, I'll start to feel better, at least for a few weeks before the inevitable decline happens in the medium term as the cancer starts to regrow.
In case it isn't clear option 2 is the better one in my eyes. Back to Russian roulette, do I feel lucky?
