Best place to get things 3D printed? (or can anyone here do it?)

I'm after a dual fan bracket for my H1 (https://www.printables.com/model/108...-shrouds/files) and am looking to get it printed and delivered, any suggestions on who to use? There are a few places but I don't know who is best/cheapest/most reliable? It'll be hidden by the case so doesn't need to be made perfectly.

    Thanks,

    Rob

What's your timeframe on this Rob? I recently got a resin 3d printer and would be a good project for me to get started on, I think it fits on the build plate. But couldn't do it until after the weekend

Other than that there are others on here with 3d printers who maybe able to help rather than spending money on 3d printing places.

No rush for it, I've just caught the bug and need to upgrade/tweak something!

Thanks for the offer, let me know what you think it'd cost, I'll also see if anyone else comes along with suggestions though if that's ok? Resin is probably too 'good' for this part

Estimated to use 42ml of resin according to the software. But its more for the learning experience so only cost would be postage so like £1.50 or something.

And yes of course, its a small part and looks fairly straight forward so I am sure it could be knocked out by a 3d printer in no time

Re: Best place to get things 3D printed? (or can anyone here do it?)

Prusas Slicer estimates 41p for the dual fan version. Triple fan model it says is 55p

I know without going to the garage that I have black and clear petg spools, and believe I have some blue. I presume from the pictures black on a textured build plate would look best though.

Edit: That looks small and robust enough to post large letter, so if you want one I can just bung one in the post. I have some good karma that needs spreading around atm

Tricky to know how close to real world that is.

The slicer says how many mm of filament it is telling the printer to use, and I tell it a generic cost of the filament. I don't think the cost of the electricity is included.

Then you have to hand the post office a quid to send it, and the printing all becomes irrelevant

I expect a print shop would be about a fiver, given they have to cover the costs of rent, handling, packaging and generally have to run to a high standard and probably scrap more parts than you do for personal use. Then they have to cover the cost in time of dealing with people

Well I can't turn down an offer like that can I? Let me know what I owe you

A couple of places I looked at were 2week lead times and ~ £12, some places have a £25 min order, didn't thingverse used to allow you to choose between a selection of sellers?

That's interesting, I've not actually dealt with print shops I've just read people saying you need to charge at least a magnitude more than what the slicer says.

Bung me your address in a PM. I'll go switch the printer on, all going well it should be printed in a couple of hours.

Should have just bought the v2, has a 92mm fan at the back, save you spending money on 3d printed parts...

It's all relative, £140 for case, AiO and a 650W SFX-L PSU, I'm happy with my choice

When gaming it hits mid 60's on CPU/GPU (2600X & a 1070) so *actual* air will be lower than that by a fair amount I imagine.

Sarcastic sarcasm doesn't work on here does it lol
Given I spent on a new SSUPD and all the other bits and still have 3d printed feet, fan bracket and GPU support, but then still went out and bought a v2 for my 'spares' to live in....

I think I got the sentiment hence the

As for a 'spares' machine, I now just need a ryzen chip and I have a whole 2nd PC, I need to get rid of it for my own safety
