    There's some amount of pilot input involved in keeping it level, but the configuration of the wing and those huge flaps have a massive stabilizing effect. Just think about all that air being squished between the flap and the ground. As a wing drops lower, that space starts to get smaller, and puts more upward force on the wing. I'd bet it gets pretty challenging in a crosswind!
