Re: Hope everyone is safe in the storm

    Our weekend was fun.... not.

Planned ages ago to go to Chester Zoo, wifey decided to go ahead.... My windscreen wipers packup up half way there, so 75 mils og M6/M56 with no wipers, plus the entire return trip, 155 miles, with no wipers... I am knackered !

Zoo was a wash out too, although I did get some nice OrangUtan piccies.
    Cheers, David

Brief power outage but currently on here in Exeter. Tonight seems to be worse than Friday though, little one is struggling to settle with the noise.

Power back at 8am this morning.
How long it will last depends on what the next round of storms (Franklin, is it?) does to the local area. Got 303 active outages round our way, 85 of them relatively local.
Neighbours have a son who needs a ventilator and they've been given a generator to keep him going.

Re: Hope everyone is safe in the storm

Only live about 10 miles from the isle of wight which was supposed to have the worst of the wind but apart from a fence panel the neighbor behind is responsible for no issues. I took the sides off trampoline and wedged bins into a corner with a rock on top (no wheel bins here) on Thursday and they where unaffected. Was also able to make trip to Kent late Friday evening and returned yesterday with only mild wind effects on the return! Quite a few trees around in the area but nothing on my road. A bit overblown if you'll excuse the pun.
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.
