    Bit-tech forum ban

    Hey all,

I’ve tried contacting admin on bit-tech forums but I couldn’t get hold.

I am a member of various forums. If you look up cheeky you will see that I am genuine.

“Cheeky3” - I came to bit-tech as I wanted to be a positive contributor. I was genuinely trying to be helpful and a post got deleted and account banned, and it’s quite upsetting. If there are any links I posted they can be deleted that is fine, I was excited to be a member there as I very much liked the atmosphere.

I’ve had issues on various other forums as a neurodiverse individual - I have a strange sense of humour and occasionally have posted inappropriate things and as I didn’t make a great impression I was instantly marked a troll and banned. Is there some kind of blacklist? Stopforumspam? Because I am not a spammer.

The whole clash has been upsetting and I believe I I have been reported as a spammer most likely after evading bans, although some admins were understanding and let it slide. But I am not gonna do that as cheeky3 is the name I’d like to remain with. I think it’s something I need to sort out.

And if you wish to restrict PM privileges and remove any links I post, I’d totally understand and respect that decision

    Re: Bit-tech forum ban

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately the mods here are independent from Bit-Tech so we can't help further. You're welcome to have a look at our rules and posting ethos: https://forums.hexus.net/general-dis...tures-etc.html and if you respect them you're welcome on this planet that orbits a dying sun.
