    Tight fisted BT man

Theres a guy wiring up a 2nd line for my neighbour, so he's at the bottom of the pole just outside out house.
    - So i walk out at start trying to talk to him, in the hope of getting a new master socket of him (ours is all cracked and nakered, been meaning to replace it for years) but he wouldnt give me one, not even for a fiver! - What a idiot! - then he started going on about how i shouldnt be messing with there wiring anyway.

No. He would have to account for the socket. And you aren't meant to touch it anyway (only the front part). If you want the socket replaced, call BT out.
