Damn, I was looking forward to my prize. Bit early to light it so probably is the microwave... could only cook on it if one of the ones with a hob on top.
Or a grille

Sofa on toast with BBQ sauce. mmm
It was beautiful this morning. Bright and sunny, not warm, not cold... now it's blumming pouring down. I'm doing a sound production assignment today, recording sound effects for an imaginary game. I stupidly waited for everyone to wake up before I started slamming doors and generally making a damned noise.
So now when I'm ready to record some footstep clips, I have to go outside and get my hair wet! My hair! WET!
So what you do it get yerself a medium sized whole chicken and chop the spine out.
Now skewer it so it stays flat and then sprinkle it with oil, salt and pepper and your favourite herbs... I've gone for some sage for this time.
Now grab yerself a big handful of fresh rosemary...
...and lay that onto your barbie grill...
Then dump your chicken on top, the rosemary will smoke and infuse the chicken with flavour as it cooks....
Now flip that baby over onto a raised grill to cook a little slower and stop any flames from dripping fat setting fire to the skin or scorching it too much...
Ooooh yum! That looks good! Although I am more of a red meat man myself!
BUT you don't have to wait til summer to have a bbq! Being South African, we barbeque all year round! Regardless of what the weather is! Its just what we do!
Ant
Oh crikey I'm hungry now

Today the missus roasted a 2lb beef joint, medium rare, onions, no idea what herbs. It was absolutely gorgeous. That's the first time I've had someone else make roast beef that's been cooked perfectly, isn't well done, and doesn't taste like leather.
Before she moved in, two years ago, the best thing that she'd cooked for me was a Marks and Spencer "Bangers, Mash and Gravy" thing... which gave me food poisoning. Bit of tutoring from myself, patience from her, and she's come on leaps and bounds. Her brocolli even rivals mine, now!
Oh, i thought you was going to put your sofa on it
Well I just had Chilli con carne and rice...
That beats a BBQ any day
/me waits for arguement to flare up

Which reminds me.... Next time your round mate, there's a HUGE bush of the damn stuff in the back garden.Originally Posted by Nick
