God that makes me feel sick, its actually amazing that they can zoom in that much from space nowdays. I am sure the spy community can actually see what I am typing now through my window if they wanted to though.
it is strange. This has to be the best online map I've ever seen though. I love how easy it is to use.
New York is cool but its taken at 2 different times of the year so one bit has trees with leaves and then suddenly bits that are taken in the fall. Also the Empire States Building looks like it's upside down.

I'm currently following the road one guy mentioned in XA's link - apparently the road North of Area 51 which goes through a mountain..... maybe the Stargate exists

found the road - its the one that follows the perimeter of the North of the lake bed, and goes to the right. Although I can't see where it is supposed to come out, unless its supposed to be a couple of hundred miles long
