Today... I will mostly be doing...

    ... absolutely NOTHING

This is the wierdest feeling in the world... I handed my dissertation in yesterday (65 pages, 19.5k words), and i'm still in the mindset of thinking that i should be doing some work... yet i have none to do.

It's sooooo good to sit in the pub, have a half (I'm allowed, i'm a girl) and a chocolate fudge cake (it was 'spoons), take my time and not feel guilty coz i should be doing my diss.

Dissertations really take over your life.
I now have my life back, but i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do now.

(apart from tidying me room, and doing some washing... you can tell i've been hibernating in here...)

P.S Thankyou to everyone who's provided support, or who answered that post. It means a lot to me to have people this supportive in one of the most stressful times of my life.

    Well done you!

I know how you feel, dont have to do dissertations - but I am currently running through my ACCA qualification sitting 2 exams every 6 months. Get a couple o months off between sitting the exams and waiting for the results but then it all starts again!
Next lot are in June. So currently trying to spend as much time with my head in my books and course exams are due in on Friday. So can fully sympathise with the feeling of these things hanging over your head!

Least ur done now tho!! Enjoy you new freedom!!
If you're not living on the edge, you take up too much room

Chill Winston! Was just a tongue in cheek comment.

Congrats on getting your work done though, I know how hard it can be, my g/f finished her final year at Uni last year.

    I know it was...

Some students are lazy bums... *ahem* Film, tv and drama *Ahem* and don't know what the meaning of work is.

We've had just one hard slog this year, with never ending essays, lectures, pracs, assignments etcetc... it's just nice to have a break.

Just like to say Congrats to Big Leon too... as he's just been through the same (same course etc)

    Congrats on finishing the dissertation.

When it him home for me about not having any more college work to do was at Christmas. The first one after I'd got my degree involved me sitting around thinking that I should be doing something. Then I realised that I didn't have to do anything, so I went down the pub
