I wonder if the streamlining effect of having no arms outweighs the extra power they give?
Fly is the most difficult of strokes, purely because of the drag the arm movements creates. He also doesn't have the resistance of the chest and head on the top of the recovery.
if you hear the commentary they say it could be 'another' world record...
