    How to RMA with Overclockers

    ok guys,

got my RMA number for overclocker eventually, however I got pretty poor instructions on what to do.

Do I have to pay for return shipping to OC ? if so do they refund my postage costs if its found faulty ?

The quality of the mails I get back from OC is a disgrace.

Just made my lastest purchase back from KustomPC's, now those guys now how to look after you.

My advice would be to contact OcUK. Not a completely different company.

Try phoning them, I'm sure their contact number will be on their website.

You obviously live in an alternate reality, one where OcUK are a fabulous company, have email support AND answer their phones.

For those of us living in the real world however, it's a different story altogether. One of anger, frustration, a shady company, lack of support, etc, etc

My cousin had to return someting to them, after about 50ish phonecalls he got hold of someone and sorted it out. If i was you id be wishing i payed a few quid more and got it from ebuyer. I hope none of my stuff from Ocers dont break,
If you look in the phonebook (bt websight) you can get the direct number for overclokers not there preimuim rate redirect.

    Guys,

Please don't turn this into a slanging match for/against OcUK, there is the http://users.hexus.net portal for that.

Hope and pray... hope and pray.

Get on the phones and just keep dialing the number.

p.s. If you try to call in on the other number or the one not listed on the site they will not help you and you'll be cut off (unless you have a relationship with the company). They must rely on the call charges to keep their 'customer support' channels open.

Just looking for help from previous experience.

I've eventually got my RMA its more a case of what happens next, Do I sort of postage or do I arrange postage with a certain company on behalf of Overclockers ? do they refund my postage as I'm certainly not paying to send something faulty back ?

I could trying contacting overclockers to ask these questions as I have done today (again got no response on the phone) and last time it took 2 days to reply to an email and I want to get this sent off ASAP.

I've RMA'ed to OcUK before and had excellent service. I feel it's just the unlucky few who have problems

Pretty simple to RMA though, just hope you don't have to do it again in the future

Why don't you get 3 pieces of paper, 2 pieces of cellotape, and write, "CALL ME REGARDING AN RMA <INSERT NUMBER>" on each piece of paper.

Feed the first piece of paper through, before it had finished going through the fax, cellotape the next page onto it, continue until you have a nice loop.

    Hopefully should get a response....

I think you're confused. It's more like the "lucky few who received excellent service".

You only have to check http://www.romulus2.com/feedback/company.php?35 and Hexus ratings to see the proof is in the pudding.

ahhh.......not off topic....please just supply info on the process of sending the thing back to overclockers.co.uk and if/how to get your money back on the postage.

I have the RMA, do I have to arrange a certain postal courrier to get a refund on postage, or just go with who I like.

I know I should ask Overclockers this, however as we know their service is poor and I'd like to get this item returned ASAP.

You pay the postage, they wont refund you on the postage, the email they send you for the RMA, send the item back, well packaged, and stick the RMA number on three sides of the box/package send it off, bobs your uncle, wait for 14 days get a reply

you will find all retailers will do that :/ you pay to send it back, they pay to send the replacement to you.
