Good news about IE7

Yes, many complaints about IE in the past and it seems that a couple of the major issues that everyone wants to be fixed are actually being fixed!

Alpha transparency in PNG's will be sorted out as well as the CSS issues that IE has due to them thinking that it's ok to change the standards. Perhaps this version of IE will be something that no-one has to worry about

Either way Hex is right, IE has a poor engine behind it :/ Lets hope they move back towards what is known as a standard.

Well no MS have competition with other "leading" browsers they have to make sure that it's IN competition with them so at least it's getting better. Sure, there'll be older versions of IE still around, hopefully they can make IE7 a necessity like SP2

IE7 will no doubt be bundled with SP3 due at the end of the year I would imagine, for XP anyway.

If they start adhering to web standards, sort out the security issues and implement tabbed browsing then maybe I'll think about moving back to IE...
