    GMAIL - Qestions

    Hi guys

Just wanted to know how many of you use Gmail? I have been using it for ages now and really get on well with it, but some people just don’t like the setup,

Also does anyone know how to stop the email contacts automatically being added to the address book – as I keep finding ebay addys in there from when I buy and sell!

Also any other good tips or tweaks about?

    I like gmail alot

lots of space, very easy to use system, very fast to load (unlike the horribly cumbersome hotmail or yahoo mail)

and with pop3 enabled i can check emails from my fone

Not sure about your contacts problem, there should be a setting to turn it off though i imagine?

Why are there addresses in my Contacts list that I don't recognise?
    Answer:

When you send a message to someone new, Gmail automatically updates your Contacts list with their address. Gmail also updates your Contacts list to include the address of the person who invited you to create your account.

You can't disable this feature, but you can remove addresses from your Contacts list at any time. Here's how:

    1. Click 'Contacts' along the left side of any Gmail page.
    2. Tick the box next to the contact you would like to delete.
    3. Click 'Delete' at the top of the page.
