    Changing to a foreign university

Anyone any ideas on how to change to a university somewhere foreign or how to go about it? Been thinking of moving somewhere foreign for my second year, only a thought so far though. Any information on it anywhere?

    Thoughts much appreciated

See if your uni sets up any trips elsewhere...

otherwise I think it's the Erasmus? scheme that you need to look into.

see if there are any exchange programmes. that way you can pay your normal tuition fees and not what you might have to in another country. as the person you exchange with pays the fees in their own country.

Lol is there any aspect of your course which may suit a specific country?!

I.e. if you wanted to look into some regional / national or climate differences etc. For instance in one of my years i might hope to go to sweden, or norway too see about engineering in extreme cold, but you never know Durham might be cold enough! lol.

Also is there any country you particularily fancy, or any languages you can speak?!

Well i'm hoping to go to canada as there's no canada like french canada. I could learn more french whilst i'm there (i take french courses at the moment anyway). But generally a canadian uni would be nice. Or American would be cool as well.

I've just e-mailed someone about it but i need to know whether i can back out of a house deal if i've NOT signed the contract yet but my guarantor has signed it. Hopefully i can get out of it 'cause if i get into one of the unis i won't have to worry about my accomodation over here
