Tony Blair supports abortion up to birth and on demand for any reason. Tony Blair supports partial-birth abortion.

Partial-birth abortion is a horrifying procedure wherein an abortionist incompletely delivers a baby, leaving its head within the mother. He then penetrates the base of a late-term baby's skull so that he can suction out its brain (thereby collapsing its little head) prior to full delivery. Evidence confirms that these unborn children experience profound pain during these procedures.

a surgical nurse who observed first-hand this gruesome procedure at abortion clinic, recounted the immense revulsion she experienced while participating in a partial-birth abortion:
"The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping and his feet were kicking. Then, the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, in a startled reaction -- like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall."

Partial-birth abortions are performed by the NHS.

whoa !!!!! reveal your source of this.

Statements like that can't just be made without quoting your source.

Considering that this thread was lynn.'s first post - I smell trolling and as I stated as a problem in my earlier thread another pointless thread

    whats your view on this
lynn. is a troll, who makes stupid comments on websites to try and be clever and start a row. This is lynn.'s first post and hopefully if this is the level of contribution her last.

I ask the mods to simpley remove this thread full stop as to not give it any forum space unless lynn. can come back with some reasonable source other than "My mate said when we where in the lunch queue at school"

yes i do believe, day before election, person with 1 post, and says something against labour. I wouldnt be suprised if she has posted on other forums as well.

Anyway, it is the choice of the mother/family whether or not to keep the baby or not, as if they feel they cannot support the child sufficiently, how can you justify bringing up a child in poverty.

The procedure is usually performed during the fifth month of gestation or later. The woman's cervix is dilated, and the fetus is partially removed from the womb, feet first. The surgeon inserts a sharp object into the back of the fetus' head, removes it, and inserts a vacuum tube through which the brains are extracted. The head of the fetus contracts at this point and allows the fetus to be more easily removed from the womb.
Referring to a Virginia state law, Bennet Greenberg, executive director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia said: "I'm not aware of a need for this bill in the first place, since this procedure is very, very rare, and I'm not aware it's ever been used [in Virginia]."
This procedure while it does sound particularly brutal would only be used rarely in extreme cases where it is neccasary to save the mothers life. As for the feet and hand movements these actions do not immediatly mean the baby is infact alive and aware of what is going on, muscle spasms occur in dead bodys all the time its a well known phenomenon. Having said that I am against abortion when used as a method of birth control due to bad planning, however in special circumstances I do believe it to be neccasary.

I know there is a stage of abortion near the end, where the feotus has to be cut up fot it to be removed. However its nothinh like what you discribe. I would of thaught they would of killed the baby humainly first. If you can reveal your souce fair enough.

However it seems to me that you are trying to create an anti labour feeling, you could of at least picked a true point against them.

Abortion is good for socity, it saves money on childcare for unwanted children, decreases poverty, IS painless for the baby. I dont agree on late abortions, which is fine seen as there iligal, even under labour.

It does reek of delibarate trolling to me.

in fact a little hunting shows that you have no facts at all that this procudre is legal in the UK. It was banned in the states in 2003.
