It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Labour have one this.

    Still, - go conservative!

I would vote for Conservative, but sadly i'm not a right wing facist who has no real support for students, except for making them worse off.

    Go Lib Dems!!

    Labour - 26
    Lib Dems - 2
    Tories - 1

what's significant about the results is ~6% drop in labour votes, and 5% increase in lilb dem

the lib dems have about 2/3 of the conservatives' share of the popular vote - but only 1/3 of their number of seats. which means either lib dem constituancies are 100% lib dem, or that the lib dems are close & could steal a HUGE number of constituancies next election

either way, the lib dems should be very pleased, 5% increase in the popular vote and 20% more seats, nothing to be sniffed at

The interesting thing to me is that the Tory share of the vote is pretty much unchanged.

I think the only party that can be happy with the result is the Libdems tbh...

    I am happy.

The next election will be very interesting. In 4/5 years time a vote for the LibDems really could mean waking up with the Tories...
