    Random online purchases.

Right, having a convo with Swafey on MSN atm & the subject of booze + online shopping & the consequences came up. Seems most people have made some random or poinless purchases online whilst 'under the influence'. Wont tell you what Swafes is

Mine's either "an all singing all dancing reclining armchair with built in music centre & mini fridge. Leather, heated & with massage & vibrate functions."
or a gorilla suit (no comment)

So, anyone got any boozy purchasing bloopers?

Hmm. I've just had a couple of beers and ordered a new HSF, 512MB USB pen, NEC 3540, UV light and a multi card reader for the 3.5" bay.
I had a look through scan, aria and komplett but none of them had all of those (the card reader and DVD writer are both silver to go with my case)

I once ordered some porn off ebay when I was hammered, my GF was not bed pleased though.

The items got canceled by ebay because they were against the T&C's so all was well in the end.

Anyway, you wanna know my most random purchase?

A pair of size 4 scooby doo slippers, I dont really remember it all that well, but I remember thinking they looked kinda cool, shame Im a size 10, and 15 years too old for them

I don't drink much anymore, but in the past I've made a couple of cock-ups.

A few months ago, I get in from a curry night out (curry, pub, club) and think that it would be a better idea to make the next days horse racing selections before I go to bed so that I can have a lie in. This usually takes me 30 minutes to an hour per day, but this took me from 4am until 6.30am to make 3 selections. Fine, "no problem - my vision is a bit impaired" I thought. Right on the money....

When I finally climb out of bed at 4pm, I go to see how I've done for the day. Open up the sporting life website for the results, "GET IN!" I say, 3/3 at good odds. Open up my betting accounts, look at my betting history... nothing there.

I'd made the selections, but hadn't backed them. FOOL!

    I've bought a few things.

Neon mouse mat thats USB and glows so much that at night it burns your eyes.

I've also bought some scary shirts ... and I mean scary ones that should not be seeing the light of day, but I've bought some crackers as well such as a Geoff Banks space invaders style shirt thats total 80's retro and funky.

I hide my wallet when I'm off it and lock the drawer - that way I cannot open the drawer and just chill watching TV instead

Two drawer runners from ScrewFix Direct
    A whistling lighter
A HSF for an AMD socket 939, when I don't even own one
    Bicycle handlebar grip tape

No, I have NO idea why I bought them, not even a memory of two of them... but they've all come in handy since... Precognitive drunken purchasing perhaps?

Me, if i do get drunk (which is rare cuz i cannot be asked to drink loads - and waste loads of money) i just dont go online, it is a good barrier to doing / buying anything.

@ Spud... whats wrong with the FM transmitter, despite it being illegal ... hints cough no doubt u want to sell it *wink wink*

    lol
