    Media studies GCSE help please!

For my exam i've got to write about a recent advertising campaign that has been succesful, Budweiser. Now I can't actually think what the adverts were like from 2000 - present day, can somebody please quickly go over the adverts?

    Eg:

    1)the frogs advert " BUD " " WEIS" "ER"

    2)

    3)

    etc.

    Thanks

er there was the one with the frogs on the back of the croc..
and I think one more frog one (to keep with that particular series).

their next succesful series was the wassup ads

ah media studies GCSE, I remember that.. you get the paper a week or so before the exam don't you? .. I didn't really read it until the night before the exam hehe.

There were also the two lizards on a branch (louie & ?) arguing about the frogs, and how they could have done a better job etc. etc.

Although .com is the american site so it would be their adverts listed anyway (we have some slightly different ones, like the latest football based).

they have lots of 'true' adverts

the most succesful one in recent years in the states was at the superbowl this year - i think it was something like a bunch of servicemen returning from iraq getting a round of applause at the airport, and at the end it just said 'true'

Wasn't there also one that went "AHHHHEYYY" or something? They picked up the phone and "AHHHHHEEEYY".

    Or was that not budweiser?

Really? That's strange... with the popularity of their frog/wassup/true adverts and the fact that Google shows them as listing ads I would've thought they would be there.

there are a few sites with some of the videos available for viewing... but not much detail.

I would think bud themselves would have some sort of "past advert list" really.

Rcb: depending on how much time you have, I would recommend simply contacting bud and asking.. I've always found large companies to be very helpful when it comes to academical projects/reports being written about them.

Squaresoft USA (before it became Square-Enix(?)) sent me a massive pack of information after I wrote to them, with a hand-written letter wishing me luck with my work. I thought that was a fairly nice touch
