Messed up avatars?

Are Rave and nvening's avatars supposed to look like that? Left hand side is in firefox and right hand side is IE with a clean cache...

there was some server maintenance the other week and the database was moved/shifted around, which meant that the avatars (which are stored as BLOBs in the DB) became mussed up.
They just need reuploading.

Itd be easier for the admins to remove the avs from people whos are corrupt Id say.

Would you fancy going through 7300+ profiles to see if their avatars are corrupt? I know most wouldn't have them, but that's still quite a few.

Delete the whole lot (like David suggested they may do) and let everyone upload them again, it'll be far easier.

Not going through every user, but there are ones flagged in these 'messed up avatars' threads that could be sorted.

I think the admin staff can delete everyones avatar and then force people to re-upload theirs. Its the best way really, I have seen loads like it.

Yeah was also curious on this problem, but guessed it was to do with the new look etc.. Soo was just going to wait.. So now I know! ..

But yeah as famished said that would be a good idea just to remove aLL avatars, and get everyone (who can be bothered!).. To reupload..
