    orange...grrrr...

just got a bill for £85 because they decided to change my service plan without any warning...so there I was happily using my 500 free texts a month when bam! they cancel that. when I ring up they're rude and unhelpful and claim I was told on a number of times the service plan was changing. nope. if I had you'd think I would have been more careful wouldn't you. filthy lying money grabbing scum. if thats how they treat their existing customers (after the recent spate of adverts) I'm quite appauled.
i hate mobile phones and the companies that run them.

I've been skanked a few times when they have charged me for things that should of been included in my free minutes and free texts plan, just keep at them they soon back track, normally asking for your pak number to change suppliers generally gets you places, works for me on vodaphone.

The reason i like PAYG. You know how much your spending. And, orange and vodaphone are both very expensive and provide crap coverage on PAYG.

Orange have the best customer care department out of all the firms. I am glad I am with them. Trust me you dont want to be with Singlepoint !

You get problems with all the networks, they're as bad as each other. The best thing to do is just keep at them and start asking for your PAC code.

Why exactly did they cancel your 500 free texts? Was it a limited time promotion?

I've never had a problem with Orange at all... (touch wood). Customer Service is always great, even when you ring late at night etc there is always someone there to help. Thats the main reason I have stayed with them for so long. I'm sure they do make mistakes, but I'm also sure that they're not the only company that do!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

nope it was a promotion but I rang up not 3months ago and they said it would carry on then they suddenly cancel it, and when I ring yesterday I get told I wasn't meant ot have it for as long as I had it and they warned me - um, no they didn't! utter useless swines. they just take your money and don't give a toss.

Send them something in writing and ask for a reply in writing. If they don't respond or don't give a satisfactory answer then complain to the relevent authority (OFCOM? Trading Standards?).

Orange aren't the only ones though - I've had abysmal service with O2 including my last bill being £82 too much (was in Paris for two weeks, paid a £3 / month roaming charge to get midly more affordable call rates and as you may have already guessed they've charged me at the higher rates not the 'discounted' rate - 94p a minute in most cases ... How they justify that is beyond me... And coincidentally they've also charged me for all of my texts this month too)

I hate o2, the amount of problems I had to sort for an old girlfriend was just crazy.

I really like Orange, but the one thing that means I never call them is the phone, th only time I have had my runins with them is over dodgy working software on other handsets, with my 6230 i have been very, very happy and the service has been fantastic.
